As seen at Sunday’s Money in the Bank event, Baron Corbin won the Ladder Match to capture to Money in the Bank briefcase that will allow him an opportunity at the WWE Championship “anytime” he wants.
Dave Meltzer discussed this match on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Meltzer mentioned that Corbin would not be cashing in until the next babyface of the company wins the WWE Title from Jinder Mahal.
Meltzer speculated that John Cena would most-likely be the next babyface to capture the WWE Title and the company may do a program between the two in the future. A match between Cena and Jinder is already being rumored to take place at this year’s SummerSlam event, so if Corbin was to cash in, it would be around that time.
