Rhea Ripley isn’t just showing up in Pittsburgh tonight — she’s bringing a “huge message” with her, and it might reveal who’s next in line for her WWE Women’s World Championship.
WWE confirmed that Ripley will open tonight’s Monday Night RAW, airing live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with what they’re calling a “special message.” The company teased the announcement by saying, “Monday Night Raw will kick off in a major way as Rhea Ripley has promised to deliver a message to the WWE Universe.”
But fans might already have an idea of what that message could be. According to recent reports, WWE is seriously considering Rhea Ripley vs. IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s World Championship at the upcoming WWE Evolution 2025 premium live event. Evolution is scheduled for July 13, 2025, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, and marks the return of the all-women’s event after years off the calendar.
WWE even dropped more fuel on the fire with the latest WWE Now YouTube preview, promoting tonight’s show with the video titled, “Rhea Ripley kicks off Raw with a huge message.”
Ripley hasn’t been seen since her brutal Street Fight with Raquel Rodriguez at WWE Night of Champions, but with Evolution right around the corner, now seems like the perfect time for The Eradicator to set the record straight — and possibly name her next challenger.
With Evolution, Saturday Night’s Main Event, and SummerSlam all closing in fast, don’t be surprised if Ripley steps up tonight and puts IYO SKY in her sights.
