Possible Match Revealed for July 15 WWE NXT After Heated Confrontation

Just hours before WWE NXT goes live tonight, WWE posted new backstage footage teasing a possible surprise match—and fans are already talking.

In the clip, Karmen Petrovic is seen being confronted WWE Evolve Women’s Champion Kali Armstrong in a tense verbal exchange. Things didn’t get physical, but the conversation clearly escalated. Petrovic ended the segment by stating her intention to get the match made official.

“Since because you want to run your mouth, why I don’t I talk to Ava about taking that title off you,” Petrovic said.

Armstrong, who currently holds the Evolve Women’s Title, didn’t back down during the confrontation, but WWE has yet to confirm whether the match will take place tonight. Tonight’s scheduled card already includes:

• Tony D’Angelo vs. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs. Luca Crusifino in a triple threat match
• Trick Williams, Joe Hendry & Mike Santana vs. DarkState in six-man tag action

With the addition of a potential grudge match between Petrovic and Armstrong, NXT could deliver even more surprises when it airs live from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida, at 8 PM ET on The CW Network. The episode will also be available internationally via Netflix.
