Bianca Belair is finally taking a major step toward her WWE comeback — and the latest update could be the clearest sign yet that a return is getting closer.

After almost a year on the sidelines following a complicated knuckle injury suffered at WrestleMania 41, a new report from BodySlam.net on March 26, 2026 reveals that Belair has now started light training as she works her way back to in-ring competition. It was noted that sources indicated that Bianca Belair has begun light training as she prepares for a return to action.

"Sources indicate to Bodyslam that Bianca Belair has started doing some light training as she looks to make her return to in-ring completion."

That’s a significant development, especially considering how serious the injury turned out to be. Belair hasn’t competed since her triple threat match against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY at WrestleMania 41, where she broke her knuckle — an issue that required surgery and a longer-than-expected recovery timeline.

Earlier this month, she shared an update on Instagram showing she could finally bend the injured finger again, something she previously couldn’t do after surgery. At the time, she admitted the recovery process had been difficult. She followed that with a more encouraging update as things started to improve

“Not any last videos from last week because last week was pretty rough 🥺 But this week started off better.”

Now, with light training underway, the situation is clearly moving in the right direction — even if we don’t know a return date yet. With WrestleMania 42 approaching fast, Belair’s status remains one of the more interesting question marks. Progress is happening, but whether she’ll be ready in time is still unclear.

Do you think Bianca Belair should return in time for WrestleMania 42, or should WWE wait until she’s fully 100% before bringing her back? Drop your thoughts and feedback below.
