The WWE Women’s U.S. Title match on SmackDown took a shocking turn when Alba Fyre made her return, helping Chelsea Green retain against Michin. With Isla Dawn no longer in WWE, many wondered what would be next for Fyre, and now we have the answer—she’s siding with Green and Piper Niven. But why?
That’s exactly what Byron Saxton tried to find out in a WWE Digital Exclusive. However, Piper Niven wasn’t about to give anything away. When pressed about why Fyre interfered, she shot down the question with a blunt response:
“That’s classified information, BRIAN. All that you or anybody else needs to know, is mission accomplished.”
Saxton didn’t get another word in before Green, Niven, and Fyre walked off, leaving even more questions than answers.
What’s clear is that Chelsea Green has built a dangerous faction around her, turning her Women’s U.S. Title reign into a numbers game. With Piper Niven and now Alba Fyre watching her back, Green has a serious advantage over the rest of the division.
As for Michin, she was blindsided and robbed of her moment. After putting everything on the line in a brutal Street Fight, she was seconds away from winning before Fyre crashed the party. The betrayal leaves Michin in a tough spot—does she move on, or does she find backup of her own?
