The wait is over—Pete Dunne’s Bloodsport XIII opponent has officially been revealed, and it’s none other than Timothy Thatcher.
Set for April 17 in Las Vegas, Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII will mark Dunne’s debut in the no-ropes, no-pins combat sports hybrid event. And he’s not easing into it—he’s walking straight into a fight with one of the most grizzled grapplers on the circuit.
“Two men that haven’t faced each other one-on-one since 2016, yet seem destined to meet each in perpetual combat,” wrote Barnett on X. “Both adherents of the old ways of Pro Wrestling – Catch-as-Catch-can. Who will take the limb first and catch hold of victory?”
Thatcher, a Bloodsport veteran, enters the bout with a 3-4-1 record in the promotion, bringing years of vicious, technical brawling experience. Dunne, known for his joint manipulation style and no-nonsense demeanor, might be new to the Bloodsport format—but don’t expect him to flinch.
This adds even more firepower to an already brutal lineup. Here’s the full slate confirmed so far for Bloodsport XIII:
Bloodsport XIII will take place on Thursday, April 17, in Las Vegas, aligning with a loaded WrestleMania Week that’s already packed with crossover chaos.
