Pete Dunne just made Bloodsport his new playground—and he did it with a sadistic smile on his face.
At Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII, the WWE Superstar made his long-awaited debut and wasted no time putting a hurting on Timothy Thatcher. In a brutal and technical bout, Dunne broke Thatcher down in trademark fashion, “snapped the fingers,” and locked in a vicious armbar to force the tap.
That savage finish had the Las Vegas crowd wincing in unison—and loving every second of it. Clips from the match immediately began circulating on social media, with fans praising Dunne’s violent style. One tweet showed Dunne cranking Thatcher’s arm while grinning from ear to ear, captioned with: “destroying hands and smiling away.” Another zoomed in on Thatcher’s twisted fingers and simply said: “OUCH!”
With the win, Dunne kicks off his Bloodsport record at 1-0, while Thatcher—no stranger to this kind of punishment—drops to 3-5-1 in Bloodsport competition.
Dunne’s performance reminded fans why he’s one of the most dangerous technical wrestlers alive, and now that he’s tasted Bloodsport, the rest of the roster might want to keep their joints protected.
