Pete Dunne Makes WWE SmackDown Debut With A New Name

WWE will sometimes switch up someone’s name after their main roster call-up. It appears that happened once again as Pete Dunne appeared on SmackDown, but that’s not what they called him.

Sheamus and Ridge Holland appeared in a backstage segment this week. They were asked to answer to destroying Big E’s ATV. Then they announced that they brought a new friend with them this week.

They said that some people might know their new friend under a different name, but they call him “Butch.” Then Pete Dunne walked on the screen. Yes, Dunne appears to be on SmackDown and his name is Butch.

We’re guessing that Pete Dunne lost his name because Kevin Dunn didn’t like it, but we have not been able to confirm this yet.
