Penta is on a roll in WWE.
Monday Night RAW aired live tonight from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The night inclued a few good reasons to watch, including Penta getting a piece of Xavier Woods.
Penta and the New Day have been at odds for a while now. It seems that The New Day and Grayson Waller have teamed up in their current situation, as the situation with Austin Theory’s injury caused Waller to cut ties with him.
This went on during the first hour of the show. The New Day were able to cut a promo about how they are still in mourning after losing the tag team titles. Then Penta came out to a thunderous ovation.
Xavier Woods was still upset over Penta messing with his hat, one that he claimed cost him $18k. Fans were still well behind Penta as this match started. They cut to commercial as Woods drove Penta’s back into the ring apron in brutal fashion. After Woods maintained control through most of this match, Penta gained control and hit a dive to the outside.
There was a time when it looked like Penta was going to win, but Kofi Kingston put Xavier Woods’ foot on the ropes. Then Penta nailed a dive on Kofi and Waller for good measure. The match continued from there, and Penta nailed a Mexican Destroyer for the win.
It appears that the New Day’s mourning will continue. After the match, Penta got out of the ring where he celebrated elsewhere. We will keep an eye on this situation as they keep going, but it looks like Penta won this battle.
