Penelope Ford suddenly disappeared from social media, and the timing raised eyebrows since she’s already sidelined with a serious ankle injury.
Ford deactivated her Twitter/X account without warning or explanation. The move comes while she remains out of action after suffering an ankle injury during the February 25 episode of Dynamite.
The injury happened when Ford attempted a moonsault to the floor that didn’t land properly. There were early fears that the ankle was broken, but it was later confirmed to be a serious sprain. AEW President Tony Khan later said the injury could keep her out of the ring for weeks or possibly even months.
The unexpected disappearance from social media only adds more uncertainty, especially since there hasn’t been any new update on her recovery timeline or the reason behind the account being taken down.
Most recently, Ford has been teaming with Megan Bayne as part of MegaBad within the Divine Dominion group, which also includes Lena Kross. The group had been building momentum before her injury forced her to step away from competition.
Her sudden move away from social media, combined with the injury, leaves her current situation unclear as she continues working toward recovery.
