Paul Roma just threw down a wild challenge—and the target is none other than Hulk Hogan.

On the June 8 episode of the Power and Glory Podcast with co-hosts Mario Mancini and The Master Emir, Roma opened up about his combat sports background before flipping the script around the 17:50 mark with a fiery challenge to the WWE Hall of Famer.

“There’s a gentleman out there. I think he has a couple of years on me, maybe two. I don’t think we spoke much about, and I’d like to get him in that octagon and put a little Paul Roma hurtin’ upside his head,” Roma declared.

When Emir asked who he was calling out, Roma didn’t hesitate.

“I’m talking about none other than…brother!!! Hulk Hogan…I’m going to slap the taste of brother out of his mouth.”

Roma explained his motivation stemmed from a personal grudge. According to him, Hogan once refused to meet with a disabled child who arrived late to a meet-and-greet, something Roma hasn’t let go of. He also mentioned Hogan and Eric Bischoff’s involvement with a shoot-style wrestling company, suggesting Hogan should put his money where his mouth is.

“I’m willing to do it. I’m 66 years old man. Let’s have at it. I’m ready to go. I’ll take an ass beating if he thinks he can give me one. Let’s go!”

Roma said he didn’t expect Hogan to accept, but demanded at least a direct answer either way.

“I can’t force somebody that’s afraid to go in the squared circle with me, so at least let him be man enough to give me a response. Yay or nay is fine. It doesn’t have to be long. It doesn’t have to be sweet. You don’t have to send me a nice basket of fruit to sweeten me up. It’s okay Hulk. It’s okay. Just say you don’t want any part of me and it’s all good. You go about your business, and I go about mine and leave it right where it is.”

The podcast crew floated the idea of Frank Shamrock stepping in to train Roma if the match ever came together. Roma then ended the show by saying he was going to hit the heavy bag because he was so fired up, and abruptly signed off.

Paul Roma may be 66, but he sounds dead serious about squaring off with Hulk Hogan in a real fight. Whether Hogan responds or not, this challenge just turned a quiet podcast episode into a full-on wrestling grudge headline.
