Paul Heyman is setting the record straight.
Seth Rollins shocked the pro wrestling world when he cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase to become World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam. The plan behind that whole situation was quite interesting, but it wasn’t necessarily honest.
While speaking to Ariel Helwani, Paul Heyman was asked about Seth Rollins’ injury situation, particularly if the Visionary was ever really injured. To that, the Oracle had a very short response.
“No, [he was never hurt]. No.”
Paul Heyman then revealed that faking his Saturday Night’s Main Event injury was “plan B.” He went on to say that “the story since WrestleMania has been a power grab, and this is what we’re calling The Vision.”
Paul Heyman was very happy about how Seth Rollins was able to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes. Becky Lynch also helped by posting a video of Seth on crutches, and that was not ignored either.
We will have to see what happens next for Seth Rollins. He is WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and odds are he will keep going strong in that role. That being said, fans will look at any injury reports from The Vision with a bit more skepticism from now on.
