Tommy Dreamer is still alive and well, just ask Paul Heyman.
Monday Night RAW aired live tonight from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. That included a big mention for an ECW legend.
WWE RAW opened up this week with The Vision coming out to get some heat from fans. During the promo, Seth Rollins was interrupted by Jey Uso.
Uce came out through the crowd and taunted The Vision. He also let some fans say “yeet” along with him. Then he started shading Bron Breakker because Paul Heyman cut him off.
Heyman started naming off a bunch of ECW stars since they were in Philly. In the end, Heyman made his way to booking an ECW Rules match. Along the way while naming stars from ECW, he said “the late great Tommy Dreamer.” Paul Heyman then said that he knows Dreamer isn’t dead, “but he should be.”
Bron Breakker then joined the teasing as he questioned whether Tommy Dreamer is actually alive. This seemed to surprise him. Either way, an ECW Rules match was booked for Breakker and Jey Uso later on in the night.
We will have to see if Tommy Dreamer has any answer to this dig from Paul Heyman. He will have that opportunity on Busted Open Radio. Odds are, this is only the beginning of the verbal jabs between the two sides.
