Paige VanZant isn’t closing the door on a wrestling comeback — but don’t expect her to walk into WWE.

During a recent Instagram Q&A, the former UFC star was asked if she’d ever consider joining WWE. VanZant made it clear that if she returns to the ring, her first choice would be All Elite Wrestling.

“Would I ever join the WWE? — So I’ve kind of talked about my journey with AEW, and at the time when I entered into the pro wrestling world, I wasn’t fully committed, I would say. So, I don’t know. I think if I were to go into pro wrestling, it would probably be AEW — I had an incredible experience with them, love the promotion — so I think if I go into the pro wrestling world, that’s where I would go.”

VanZant’s AEW run saw her team with American Top Team and appear regularly on Dynamite alongside Dan Lambert, Ethan Page, and Scorpio Sky. Her only match came at Double or Nothing 2022, where she teamed with Sky and Page in a winning effort against Sammy Guevara, Tay Melo, and Frankie Kazarian.

Since stepping away from wrestling last year, VanZant has focused on other ventures — but her Q&A comments suggest the door to AEW remains wide open. Despite WWE being a bigger platform in some respects, her loyalty clearly lies with the company that gave her her start in the squared circle.
