Otis’ WWE Television Absence Explained

Otis has been one of the highlights of WWE programming as part of Alpha Academy, but it’s been a while since he’s been seen on WWE television. While fans wonder when he will come back, his current absence has been explained.

While speaking during a Q&A session, WrestleVotes was asked about Otis’ absence from WWE television. WrestleVotes noted that Otis is currently out of action. It’s unclear whether his absence is due to an injury or a personal matter.

At the moment, the Alpha Academy member is not listed on the active roster, which means he is just not available for weekly television appearances.

“Yeah, he’s out of action. Don’t know if it’s an injury or a personal issue. Otis is currently not on the roster, which means they’re not available — for whatever reason, personal or injury. They’re just not available for weekly TV at the moment.”

Otis was last seen during the May 5th edition of Monday Night Raw, where he squared off against Rusev and the Bulgarian Brute absolutely destroyed Otis, which essentially wrote him off WWE television.

Whether Otis is recovering from an injury or taking a break for personal reasons, fans really want him to come back soon since they obviously miss him. Therefore, we’ll have to see when he does come back as it’s likely he will go after Rusev upon his return.
