Original Concept for Mixed Match Challenge Revealed

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, the original concept of Mix Match Challenge was for it to be an all-women’s show that would feature talent from RAW, SmackDown and NXT.

Satin wrote, “Random tidbit about WWE’s upcoming #MixedMatchChallenge for FB: Heard from reliable sources the show was initially only going to feature women from Raw, SD and NXT — but the mixed tag concept came about shortly afterward and plans changed.”
