Seth Rollins will be front and center when WWE Raw kicks off on April 6. WWE has confirmed that Rollins is scheduled to open the show, putting him in the spotlight just days after his return from injury and confrontation with Gunther.
Rollins was recently cleared to compete after dealing with a rotator cuff injury he suffered at WWE Crown Jewel 2025. On this past Monday’s Raw, he wasted no time making an impact by striking Paul Heyman with a chair, signaling that he was ready to get back into action.
That moment quickly turned into chaos when Gunther stormed in and took Rollins down. Gunther choked him out in the ring and then pointed directly at the WrestleMania sign, making it clear that he wants Rollins at WrestleMania 42.
With Rollins now set to open Raw, WWE is clearly moving this rivalry forward. His opening segment is expected to address the attack and could set the tone for what happens next between him and Gunther.
CM Punk is also scheduled to speak on the show, while Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar are set to appear, making this episode of Raw an important step on the road to WrestleMania 42.
Do you think Seth Rollins opening Raw will lead to Gunther confronting him again, or will Rollins make the next move first? Let us know what you think in the comments.
