Chelsea Green is already in New York City and ready to steal the show at NXT’s Gold Rush special.

The self-proclaimed “president” took to social media on November 15, 2025, to drop some key information about her upcoming match — and she did it in typical Chelsea fashion.

WWE uploaded a video of Green on location in NYC where she set the record straight about her place on the card and took a shot at her opponents — Thea Hale and Joe Hendry. Green didn’t hold back while flexing her geography skills and her tag team dominance.

“WWE, NXT, AAA Universe. We are live in the Big Apple. Okay? I’m the president, entering my second term. I think I know United States geography painted all over Broadway. Plaster it on a billboard, put it up in Times Square, your favorite mixed AAA Tag team champions will be defending their honor in the opening match of NXT’s Gold Rush. Going to cream none other than Thea Hale and Joe, he who shall not be named. But adios for now, because a girl has to go explore the city that sleeps.”

That confirms it — the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship match is officially opening night one of Gold Rush at The Theater in Madison Square Garden. It’s a strong way to kick off the show, and Chelsea Green clearly wants all eyes on her. Whether her confidence pays off is another story, especially with Joe Hendry in the mix.
