AEW Dynamite just got a whole lot more unpredictable—thanks to Jon Moxley kicking down the boss’s door.

Less than two hours before the August 6th edition of Dynamite was set to go live, AEW President Tony Khan took to social media with a major last-minute announcement. According to Khan, Jon Moxley just stormed into his office and DEMANDED a fight tonight. Never one to back down from chaos, Moxley didn’t care who the opponent was.

Luckily, someone was ready. “Speedball Mike Bailey has answered the challenge,” Khan confirmed. The two will now open the show in what’s guaranteed to be a hard-hitting brawl. That’s just the kickoff.

The rest of the card features big-time stakes as AEW builds toward the Forbidden Door pay-per-view later this month. “8 Belts” Mercedes Moné returns live on Dynamite after her absence following All In: Texas. During that time away, she kept collecting championships around the world. Now, she’s back and ready to remind everyone why she’s the CEO.

Meanwhile, four women—Queen Aminata, Skye Blue, Alex Windsor, and Billie Starkz—will clash in a Four-Way TBS Championship Qualifier. The winner moves on to face Mercedes Moné at Forbidden Door, and every competitor is fighting for that breakout spotlight.

Also on the lineup: MJF takes on Mark Briscoe in a singles match after weeks of personal jabs and tension. The AEW World Tag Team Eliminator Tournament continues with the Young Bucks facing Bandido and Brody King in semifinal action.
