Opening Match for AEW All Out 2025 Revealed

AEW is starting off All Out 2025 with a bang—and now we know exactly how the show will begin.

During a media call on Thursday afternoon, AEW President Tony Khan officially announced that the FTR vs. Adam Copeland & Christian Cage tag team match will open the main card this Saturday at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. With names like these setting the tone, the company is clearly looking to ignite the crowd right from the jump.

This match features two of AEW’s most iconic veterans facing one of the most dominant tag teams in the world—and putting it first sends a clear message: AEW wants to set a blistering pace.

The rest of the card isn’t holding back either. All Out 2025 features major championship bouts and brutal gimmick matches, including:

• AEW World Championship: Hangman Page (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher
• TBS Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Riho
• AEW Women’s World Championship Four-Way: Toni Storm (c) vs. Thekla vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Kris Statlander
• Coffin Match: Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin
• No DQ Tables ‘N’ Thumbtacks Match: MJF vs. Mark Briscoe
• Unified AEW Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita vs. TBD
• AEW World Tag Titles: Bandido & Brody King (c) in a four-way ladder match
• Eddie Kingston vs. Big Bill
• The Hurt Syndicate vs. Ricochet, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona

The Zero Hour pre-show kicks off with an eight-woman Tornado Tailgate Brawl, featuring Willow Nightingale, Mina Shirakawa, Harley Cameron, & Queen Aminata vs. Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Megan Bayne, & Penelope Ford.

This year’s event is also AEW’s first pay-per-view in Canada since the pandemic and marks their debut on HBO Max in select international markets. The PPV starts at a special time—3:00 PM ET—with the pre-show airing beforehand.
