Omos is back in AAA and making his presence felt again—just in time for the promotion’s historic debut on FOX Latin America. Set for January 17, AAA’s nationally televised return will now feature the 7-foot-3 giant who last appeared at Guerra de Titanes in December.

During that chaotic show, Omos shocked fans by attacking Dragon Lee and aligning himself with El Hijo del Vikingo and AAA executive Dorian Roldán, solidifying his heel turn and establishing himself as a major force in the promotion. This will mark Omos’ first TV appearance since that attack and his latest move outside of WWE while he remains off their programming.

Here’s the updated AAA 1/17 lineup on FOX:

  • #1 Contenders Match – AAA Mega Championship:
El Grande Americano vs. El Hijo del Vikingo
  • Lady Shani vs. Flammer
  • Niño Hamburguesa, La Parka & Mr. Iguana vs. Abismo Negro Jr., Taurus & Histeria
  • Omos appearance (exact segment not yet revealed)

The AAA Mega Title picture could shift dramatically with this contenders bout, and Omos’ role in the outcome could be significant, especially if Vikingo walks away with the win.

Do you think Omos is a long-term fit in AAA? Or is this just a pit stop before a WWE return? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
