It’s official—Oba Femi is headed to the Royal Rumble.
After weeks of cryptic vignettes airing across RAW and SmackDown, WWE finally dropped the confirmation fans have been waiting for. During the January 26, 2026 episode of WWE RAW—just before the CM Punk vs. AJ Styles main event—WWE aired another Oba Femi teaser video. But thiss time at the end, it confirmed his main roster debut will take place this Saturday in Riyadh.
The confirmation comes after a billboard spotted in Saudi Arabia last week sparked speculation. The massive ad, which prominently featured top names like Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, also included Oba Femi, despite him not being officially announced for the match at the time. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, that was no accident.
Bryan Alvarez noted that the promotional material all but gave it away, while Dave Meltzer suggested Oba isn’t just entering the match—he’s expected to dominate. Meltzer even compared the upcoming debut to “monster Rumble moments” from the past, referencing powerhouses like Kane and Braun Strowman, who used the match to showcase sheer destruction.
Oba Femi’s Royal Rumble debut has gone from rumor to reality—and WWE isn’t being subtle about their plans. Saturday night may not just be about surprise returns and title shots… it might be the beginning of a whole new era of dominance.
