Oba Femi’s WWE entrance has become one of the most talked-about presentations in NXT and now on the main roster — and according to the powerhouse himself, it wasn’t some carefully scripted master plan.

During a recent interview with Denise Salcedo while promoting WWE 2K26, Oba was asked how he came up with his unique entrance style — the intense movements, the shoulder rolls, the arms raised high, and the commanding walk to the ring that fans now associate with dominance.

Instead of revealing some deep creative meeting or months of rehearsal, Oba made it clear that the whole thing happened naturally. After Denise asked how the entrance came together, Oba explained:

“Something that happened organically. It's something that stuck. You know, I vibe to the music. I war danced my way to the ring, killed my opponents, and it stuck ever since.”

That “war dance” line says everything about how Oba sees himself. The entrance isn’t just movement — it’s an extension of his character. It’s rhythm, intensity, and intent all rolled into one. Denise even pointed out one of the specific signature elements — the shoulder movement — joking that you’ve “got to put the shoulder in.” Oba laughed and broke down the full presentation.

“Yeah. Yeah. The arms up, the shoulders, you know, the hair down.”

It’s not choreography pulled from a handbook. It’s instinct. And that authenticity may be why it connects so strongly with fans. As Oba transitions from NXT Champion to a main roster presence on Raw or SmackDown, that entrance is coming with him — and it’s clearly not changing.

With WWE constantly evolving its larger-than-life characters, Oba Femi’s entrance stands out because it wasn’t overproduced. It was felt first, refined later, and now it’s part of his identity. As he prepares for bigger stages and potentially dream matches down the line, one thing is clear: when that music hits, the war dance is coming with it.
