WWE’s Royal Rumble 2026 is just days away, and if you’re not paying attention to Oba Femi—you should be. A new billboard in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia may have just spoiled WWE’s plans to unleash him in a major way.
Spotted on January 18 outside the arena hosting the Rumble, the massive ad featured not only expected headliners like Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar—but also a bold placement for Oba Femi, who recently vacated the NXT Championship and started appearing in vignettes on RAW and SmackDown. According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, the placement is no accident:
“There’s a billboard up at the arena in Saudi Arabia for the Royal Rumble. And all of the major stars are on it — Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns — but also… Oba Femi.”
Dave Meltzer added that Oba’s role won’t just be symbolic—it’s expected to be dominant:
“I expected Obafemi would be in it and he’s probably gonna throw a whole bunch of people out. I mean, this is gonna be — it’s probably gonna be his coming‑out party, so to speak.”
Meltzer compared the spot to traditional “monster” performances in past Rumbles—like Kane, Braun Strowman, and Diesel—where a powerhouse eliminates several opponents to cement their status, even without winning.
With WWE clearly pushing Oba Femi into the spotlight on international marketing, and internal expectations setting him up as the Rumble’s biggest wrecking ball, fans should brace themselves. This won’t be a quiet introduction—it’ll be a demolition showcase.
WWE has yet to officially confirm his entry, but make no mistake: the seeds are planted. This might be the night Oba Femi becomes the company’s next unstoppable force.
