NXT’s Brinley Reece Gets Engaged During Romantic Beach Proposal at Lake Tahoe

NXT’s Queen of Chaos is officially off the market.

Brinley Reece revealed today that she’s engaged to longtime boyfriend Marcus Aponte, making the announcement via social media on Wednesday, August 6. The proposal went down on Saturday, August 2, during a private beach moment at Lake Tahoe — and Reece says it was everything she ever dreamed of.

Reece’s wrestling career is still in its early stages, having debuted in 2023. With fewer than 60 matches under her belt, she’s already shared the ring with names like Jaida Parker, Elektra Lopez, and Jacy Jayne. Fans might also remember her brief 2024 stint in TNA Wrestling, where she crossed paths with Ash By Elegance and her crew.

Currently, Reece is on the sidelines recovering from a shoulder surgery she underwent in May. Her last match took place on March 22, in a live event bout against Karmen Petrovic.

Though she’s out of the ring for now, Reece’s engagement gives fans something to celebrate as they await her return.
