Good Ole JR is joining the announce team for the next match and he get a massive reaction from the Brooklyn fans.

Hideo Itami is out first. Aleister Black is out second and Brendan Garone of Incendiary has joined Code Orange on stage to sing his entrance theme. Incredible entrance.

Hideo Itami Vs. Aleister Black

The referee has to try and hold both men back until the bell rings. Black and Itami immediately throw simultaneous kicks, then again, then duck and leap over a series of kicks from each other. Hideo kicks Aleister in the head, then the favour is returned and both men butt-heads before shoving each other and the fans are eating it up!

Itami looks to hit the ropes but Black has other ideas and knocks the wind right out of him with a huge chest kick. Itami rolls from the ring and Black backflips off of the middle rope and sits down in the middle of the ring to taunt him. Itami runs in and swings a kick but Black grabs the leg and kicks him off before taking him down. Black then hits a series of kicks to the chest and legs before a head-kick for a near-fall. JR says that when Itami was signed he was the hottest free agent in the world but injuries have marred his success thus far, but now he’s healthy.

Both men exchange punches in the corner until Black is thrown onto the apron and kicked in the chest. Black is draped over the top rope and Itami hits a Guillotine knee drop to the back of the head. Itami punches Black on the mat. Back elbow from Itami and gets just a one count. IItami kicks the back of Black, a move he calls Spinal Tap. JR says that whichever man tries to ground the other is the one who doesn’t want to be kicked anymore. Itami applies a sleeper hold, thus proving JR right.

Black gets back to his feet but Itami drops him again with a snapmare and some knee drops to the head. Black is bust open. Itami looks for another knee drop but jumps over him and kicks him with the back of his foot, and to add insult to injury he sits down cross-legged in the middle of the ring. Black sees this and gets to his feet furious. Black starts punching Itami but gets caught with a DDT for a two count. Anther sleeper hold from Itami.

Black gets out of the hold and unleashes two big chest kicks, then a sweep kick to Hideo’s shins which trips him up. Black kicks Itami and whips him into the corner, Itami stumbles forward as Black hits a springboard moonsault onto him! Black puts his foot to Itami’s chin and starts to stand him up, only for Itami to fight back. Itami goes  to the top rope and catches Black with a swinging ddt onto the ropes, then follows up with a flying clothesline for a near-fall. Itami hits a fisherman suplex but Black kicks out.

Itami hits Black with some slaps and a backhand and Black falls into the corner. Itami runs at Black but he catches him with a roll-up for a near-fall. Itami jumps back to his feet only to be caught with a headkick that knocks him out! Black takes to the top rope slowly and Itami meets him there with a running knee. Itami lifts Black up for a Falcon Arrow and both men are down. Slow cover from Itami and Black kicks out.

In the words of @JRsBBQ, @WWEAleister is beginning to display a “dark presence”… #NXTTakeOver pic.twitter.com/kwp7pVAPAA

Itami looks to cover Black again but Aleister springs to life and starts crawling towards Itami who looks terrified. They both get to their feet and exchange elbow strikes, then chest kicks, then slaps and the fans are on their feet. Itami with two huge slaps, followed by a jumping knee from Black, followed by another Falcon’s Arrow from Black for a near-fall! Wow! Hesitation dropkick from Itami in the corner, then he pulls down his knee pad and looks for the GTS but Black elbows him. Black eats a knee from Itami, who then shoves him and kicks his head before shouting “show me respect!” to the NXT Universe. Itami runs at Black in the corner but Black ducks it and hits Black Mass for the win!!

Winner: Aleister Black

We get replays after the match and JR’s bids adieu to the announce team. After a commercial for SummerSlam, we see Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley in the front row. We see Asuka warming-up backstage, then Ember Moon walking through the halls in what looks like a wizard’s cloak.
