Two new names could be making their main roster debut before tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Memphis.
Ahead of Monday Night RAW at the FedExForum, WrestleVotes revealed during a Q&A session that Kendal Grey and Skylar Rae are expected to be brought in before the show — potentially marking their first main roster appearances. According to WrestleVotes, WWE plans to use NXT talent in dark matches before Main Event, and Grey is firmly in that mix. WrestleVotes added that Grey has impressed internally, which is why she’s getting the opportunity.
“Memphis—they’re going to be bringing in some NXT talent for dark matches. Before Main Event, there are a couple of female names floating around. Kendal Grey is one of them, and she’s expected to be involved. They like what they see from Kendal Grey, so she’s getting that nod tonight, either in a dark match or on Main Event, introducing her to the main roster for the first time, which is an interesting decision.”
Another name reportedly circulating backstage is NXT star Skylar Rae, who already made an impression during her time in WWE LFG:
“There was also another name floating around—Skylar Rae—another name in the mix.”
It’s clear that their involvement in dark matches or Main Event could signal WWE testing the waters for a future main roster call-up. So it remains to be seen how they will fare in their main roster debut tonight.
Monday Night Raw airs live from the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee at 8 PM ET on Netflix. Here’s the updated card:
