During the September 27, 2025 tapings in Edmonton, Alberta, Ridge Holland ended up suffering an injury. Since then fans wondered if he’ll be on the shelf and now Holland has confirmed he’ll undergo surgery.

Ridge Holland took to Twitter and confirmed that he suffered a Lisfranc injury during the TNA tapings and will undergo surgery this Friday. He added that he will see fans back in the future.

“Lisfranc Injury…Surgery Friday. See ya in abit”

Ridge Holland’s Lisfranc injury happened during the aforementioned TNA tapings where he faced Moose. The match didn’t go as planned and was stopped after Ridge landed awkwardly and appeared to seriously injure his ankle or leg.

It was revealed that Ridge was in visible pain and couldn’t put weight on the leg. The referee ended the match and gave Moose the win. Moose helped carry Ridge to the back after the incident.

Holland’s injury comes at a very bad time, as he had been active in cross-promotional appearances between WWE and TNA. His time away will likely force changes to ongoing storylines and could delay any planned matches or feuds for the rest of 2025. So it remains to be seen when he will be able to return to the ring as it could be a while.
