Mark Henry isn’t holding back when it comes to praise for one of NXT’s biggest showdowns. The WWE Hall of Famer compared Stephanie Vaquer vs. Giulia at NXT Roadblock to a full-blown WrestleMania moment—and he had plenty to say about why.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Henry reflected on the match, calling it bigger than just another NXT title bout.

“It felt like a WrestleMania moment,” Henry said. “Each one of them coming down to the ring with the (pomp) and circumstance of seeing somebody outshine trying to outshine the other.”

Henry even likened their entrances to a Vegas show, emphasizing how their staredown had the energy of an old-school martial arts film, where two warriors size each other up before throwing down.

But it wasn’t just the spectacle that sold Henry on the match—it was the execution. “There was no rust or wasted movement, both of these women got to show what they could do,” he said, admitting that despite backing Giulia, “she was bested tonight.”

The match saw Vaquer defeat Giulia to become both the NXT Women’s Champion and the first-ever Women’s North American Champion. Reports have since surfaced that Giulia’s loss was linked to a minor visa issue and an undisclosed injury.

Henry hopes this isn’t the last time they face off, suggesting they hold back a little in case they get the chance to run it back on the main roster.

With Vaquer now leading the division, fans are already speculating about what’s next—and whether Giulia will come back for revenge. Should WWE book a rematch? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
