NXT Management Has Talk with Lio Rush After Controversial Joke

PWInsider reports that NXT management had a talk with Lio Rush regarding his controversial joke he made regarding Emma getting fired from WWE. Lio was reportedly working at the WWE Performance Center training under Norman Smiley and business was usual.

As previously noted, Lio received a lot of backlash among his peers within NXT and also from several veterans in the business. While he did apologize for his comments, several within the industry weren’t buying it.
