NXT Homecoming Event Announced For Full Sail Arena

NXT is coming home.

WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 took place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts. During the premium live event, they confirmed a No Mercy title match. They also announced Halloween Havoc. While they were breaking news, the company also revealed a special homecoming event.

On Tuesday, September 16, WWE is returning to Full Sail Arena. NXT will broadcast a Homecoming episode from their former stomping grounds.

Full Sail University and NXT had a long history, and a partnership that saw students get to work on a real-life live pro wrestling show. Since the pandemic, they moved away from Full Sail, but they obviously kept those ties.

Now, NXT is returning to Full Sail Arena. Only time will tell who shows up at this Homecoming event, but there are probably a lot of WWE main roster Superstars who would love to step in that ring on September 16.

We will keep a close eye on the September 16 episode of NXT. Only time will tell what they book to make that an even more special night on The CW.
