NXT Battleground History

WWE revived the Battleground event concept for NXT in 2023, beginning with NXT Battleground on May 28, 2023, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. NXT Battleground 2024 took place at UFC APEX in Las Vegas, marking WWE’s first event hosted at that venue. The most recent officially listed edition was WWE Battleground 2025, an NXT Premium Live Event held on May 25, 2025, at Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
