Hulk Hogan passed away back in July, with the official cause of death listed as acute myocardial infarction, which is a heart attack. However, it was eventually revealed that Hogan suffered from leukemia as well and it seems no one was unaware of that fact.

While speaking to Danny Jones, Bubba the Love Sponge revealed that no one knew Hulk Hogan had leukemia after his passing. Doctors said Hogan died from a heart attack with complications related to a heart valve.

Later, it was disclosed that he also had leukemia, a form of blood cancer. Bubba explained that he spoke with Hogan’s daughter Brooke, and the news came as a shock to her and to everyone else. According to Bubba, nobody knew the Hulkster was dealing with leukemia.

“Um, you know, they say he died of a heart attack with complications of the heart valve. It was also disclosed that he had leukemia, which is blood cancer. And I, you know, I’ve talked to Brooke extensively, and that was news to her and news to everybody. Nobody knew that he was dealing with that.”

It was then reported that Hulk Hogan’s passing might have involved medical malpractice after Hogan had neck surgery, which is why Hogan’s widow Sky Daily, plans to file a lawsuit.

This has now made fans wonder how long Hogan had known and why he kept it a secret even from his family. Some speculate he wanted to protect his loved ones and his legacy, choosing to keep the focus on his career and fans rather than his health. Regardless, Hogan will always be remembered for his contributions to the business and that’s never changing.
