AEW Collision just got even bigger, as Tony Khan took to social media hours before the show to announce a surprise match between Swerve Strickland and NJPW’s Clark Connors.

Khan made the announcement on Twitter, hyping up the unexpected bout. “TONIGHT Saturday #AEWCollision 8pm ET/7pm CT, TNT + MAX @swerveconfident vs @ClarkConnors. NJPW’s Clark Connors is in AEW for a fight! Before his bout vs @KingRicochet next Sunday, Swerve Strickland will fight Connors TONIGHT! 8pm ET/7pm CT on @TNTdrama + @StreamOnMax!”

With this addition, Collision is set to deliver even more action alongside an already stacked lineup. Swerve Strickland has momentum heading into his upcoming showdown with Ricochet, but Connors isn’t one to back down from a fight, making this an unpredictable battle.
