Nixon Newell is preparing for her next chapter — and it likely won’t involve lacing up her boots.
During her interview on The Wrestling Classic podcast, Newell opened up about her in-ring future and gave fans an honest update about where her heart is heading into 2026. While she didn’t rule out wrestling altogether, she made it clear: her days as a full-time performer are coming to an end.
“It’s not that I don’t like wrestling anymore — I just prefer being behind the scenes… I love helping people.”
Newell said her decision has nothing to do with burnout, frustration, or drama. Instead, it’s about finding purpose outside the spotlight. After years of injuries, rehabs, and setbacks, she’s now focused on helping others navigate those same challenges.
“I know what it’s like to be out for months, mentally and physically… if I can help even one person feel stronger or get back sooner, that means the world.”
She revealed she’s actively pursuing certifications in personal training and massage therapy, with the goal of working directly with athletes — especially wrestlers — dealing with recovery and performance needs.
“I’ve lived it. And I want to be someone who makes that process easier for others.”
Though she’s stepping away from the ring, Nixon Newell isn’t stepping away from wrestling. Her next move is about giving back, lifting others up, and being the kind of support system she once needed herself.
