Nixon Newell has now put a date window on her retirement — and it’s sooner than some fans expected.

After previously revealing that she plans to step away from wrestling within a year, Newell provided an update on February 15, 2026 during an Instagram Story Q&A session. When asked directly when her final match would happen, she didn’t hesitate, revealing that it will happen in December, saying, “More than likely in December.”

Back in November 2025, during a Twitch stream with her tag partner and real-life girlfriend Miranda Alize, Newell explained that she was entering the final stretch of her career. At the time, she said she had two years left in wrestling, and one of those years was already gone.

“I told you guys at the beginning of the year, this is my last two years in wrestling. We’re already a year gone. So I want to have fun this last year.”

The former WWE Superstar also noted that she’s no longer wrestling for money or status, but simply because she enjoys it.

“I don’t do wrestling for money. I do it because I enjoy it and it’s fun. I have other dreams in my life that I’m working on to achieve. Wrestling is just in the background.”

Now, with December 2026 penciled in as her likely final match, the “rundown time” she talked about is officially underway. Newell has made it clear this isn’t about backstage drama or frustration — it’s about closing the chapter on her own terms. If December truly marks the end, fans have less than a year left to see her in the ring.
