Nixon Newell is breaking her silence again—and this time, the situation has taken a disturbing turn.
While going live on her Twitch stream, the former WWE star opened up about the fallout from her AEW Collision controversy, revealing that she’s now receiving death threats from fans over the incident.
“It’s lovely waking up to death threats again for standing up for what we believe in and looking out for the company,” Newell said during the stream.
She went on to explain that this isn’t the first time she’s faced this kind of harassment, but the recent messages have been particularly unsettling.
“I had multiple today. I got three today and it’s always with the IWC. So it is what it is,” she added, referencing the Internet Wrestling Community’s reaction to her walkout story.
The shocking revelation comes after speculation about Newell’s backstage issues at AEW. Reports claimed she and Miranda Alize walked out of Collision before showtime after being told they’d only get three minutes for their match. Later, new details surfaced about supposed tension between Newell and AEW’s Megan Bayne, who was reportedly frustrated with a lack of cooperation during their previous tag match.
Newell has repeatedly denied that any backstage argument took place, telling Fightful Select, “No we had no disagreement, Miranda and I are really the only ones that have the details about how yesterday went.”
However, her recent Twitch comments shift the focus from wrestling politics to something far darker—online harassment. At this point, the situation has become far more personal than professional.
