Nikki Bella is set to be a part of the Happy Gilmore 2 movie this month and now she’s revealed some interesting details about the film.
While speaking to E! News, Nikki Bella revealed her experience working on Happy Gilmore 2, calling it the greatest thing ever. She described Adam Sandler as absolutely amazing and said the set was incredibly fun. She’s always believed laughter is the best medicine, and working on this film only reinforced that for her.
While sequels often don’t live up to the original, Nikki feels this one will actually be even better. She stated that the cast couldn’t stop laughing during filming and credited Adam for making everyone feel comfortable. It was her first time being part of such a large feature film, and she noted how hands-on Adam was, helping every actor improve each scene.
“Oh my gosh, the greatest thing ever. He is absolutely amazing. This set was so much fun. I truly am—I mean, I’ve always believed laughter is the best medicine, but it really is.
And you know how sometimes when people do sequels, you’re like, it’s never as good? This is going to be even better than the first. And I’m not even saying that ’cause I’m a part of it, but we just could not stop crying, laughing on set. And Adam just makes it really comfortable for everyone.
I’ve never been in that big of a feature film, and like he’s so hands-on—every scene, with everybody—on how you can make every scene even better. And it was so much fun.”
Nikki Bella revealed her excitement for fans to see the film, especially since many parts of the movie haven’t been revealed in the trailers. According to her, there’s a major twist that hasn’t been teased yet where she’ll be a part of, and she believes audiences are going to be obsessed with it once they see the direction the movie takes.
“I’m so excited for everyone to see it ’cause so much of the movie they haven’t even teased yet in the trailers. That’s what I heard. Yes. Like, there is a massive part that people are going to be obsessed with. And that’s kind of where I’m at—that they haven’t even teased. I think it’s so cool that they haven’t really teased it, because you’re going to watch and you’re going to go, ‘Oh, it’s going in this direction.'”
Apart from Nikki Bella, the movie will also feature MJF as well as Becky Lynch. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see if the movie will surpass all expectations once it releases this month.
