Nikki Bella Shuts Down WWE Evolution 2 Appearance Rumors

The Evolution 2 Premium Live Event is expected to take place this year and rumors suggested Nikki Bella was going to be involved after she previously dropped a tease about something big in July. However, she has now shut down rumors of her involvement in Evolution 2.

While speaking on the Nikki & Brie podcast, Nikki Bella shut down rumors that she would be part of the upcoming Evolution 2 Premium Live Event. She clarified that she never confirmed any involvement in the event and that the project she’s involved with in July is actually a movie.

While she originally didn’t want to reveal that detail, she felt the need to clear things up because people kept assuming she was talking about Evolution. Nikki Bella explained that she’s excited about the film, particularly because the character she plays is a great one and the role was a lot of fun. While she can’t share more details yet, she’s looking forward to when she can talk about it openly.

“My last thing that I’m going to kill—I did not confirm the Evolution pay-per-view. The thing that I was saying that I’m going to be a part of in July—I just need to kill this because I see it everywhere, and it bothers me. Because I’m in a movie, and I can’t announce it yet, but it’s a movie that I’m in, in July.

I didn’t want to say the movie part, but now I feel like I have to say it because everyone thinks I’m confirming Evolution. That’s been bothering me. I’m like, I never—It was—It’s a movie I’m in, which I’m excited for everyone to see because the character—it’s a great character. And it was a lot of fun to play, and I can’t wait to talk about it. So yeah.”

This comes after Nikki Bella previously teased a major return for “something special” happening this July and many speculated it was going to be her appearing at Evolution 2 but that’s not the case at all.

The all-women’s Premium Live Event is scheduled for the weekend of July 12 in Atlanta, but fans should not expect to see Nikki Bella at the event right now. Regardless, only time will tell when Nikki Bella will return to WWE television, as fans certainly miss her.
