Nikki Bella Sets Strict New Rules for Dating After Divorce

Nikki Bella has been keeping herself busy with various projects and her WWE career after going through a very difficult divorce last year. While she’s open to dating again, she has now revealed her conditions for her next partner.

While speaking on What’s Your Story? With Stephanie McMahon, Nikki Bella opened up about her dating life after her divorce and shared the personal limits she has set for herself. She said that during a recent night out with friends, many of whom are also newly single, they had fun conversations about dating and what kind of people she might consider.

Nikki explained that she is fine with dating as long as potential partners do not live in Napa or expect to visit her there. She made it clear that no one will meet her son for many years and that anyone she dates will need to prove themselves over time.

“All the girls were talking about this last night when we were in the suite. We were all hanging out and, you know, some of them were telling me, like, what I should go for and—Okay.

We’ve had a lot because there’s a few of us that have become single, so—Right. You know, we’ve had some fun conversations. Those are very fun conversations.

Yeah. It was good yesterday. And it’s so funny because I’m just like, well, as long as they don’t live in Napa or ever expect to come visit, I’m fine with that.

Like, no one’s coming around my son for, like, years and years and years. They have to prove that. I’ll have to know. Like, it doesn’t mean I can’t have a little fun, though.”

Nikki said Brie encourages her to embrace a more carefree approach, even joking that she should channel a “Sex and the City” style of fun. Nikki admitted she has tried to be more adventurous but finds dating challenging.

Nikki also mentioned that she tends to be more interested in older partners than younger ones and believes love will happen when she least expects it. For now, Nikki is focused on protecting her son and moving forward carefully, while staying open to what the future might bring.

“That’s what Brie says. She’s like, ‘Girl, please be Samantha’s Sex in the City.’ Yeah. Which I’m not gonna lie, I’ve tried a little bit. Yeah, sure. You know, that’s good. It’s hard. It’s hard out there. I feel like I’m actually tending to go older than younger. So many people I know. But it will be interesting to see what’s to come. You never know. You never know. Right? Never know. And if it’s going to be, it’ll be when you least expect it anyway. I know, right? Totally.”

It’s clear that Nikki Bella is putting her son, her personal growth, and her happiness first. While she hasn’t ruled out finding love, she is choosing to date on her own terms, setting boundaries that protect both her heart and her family.
