Nikki Bella is firing back at speculation surrounding her divorce settlement with Artem Chigvintsev, taking to Twitter to set the record straight about her financial obligations.

The former WWE star clarified that the $3,500 per month in child support she’s paying for their son Matteo isn’t a sign of lost custody. In her post, Nikki wrote, “I hope you all read this bc you all don’t understand the law. Child Support is about income per year. So whoever makes more and depending on how much they make a year they pay monthly.”

Nikki also addressed the $200,000 payout to Artem, explaining that it’s not tied to child support but rather to the fact that he didn’t sign a prenup. “The 200k is bc [because] he didn’t sign a pre nup. So that’s alimony. Has nothing to do with anything else except divorce,” she added, urging followers to “educate yourself and stop assuming off of click hate headlines.”

The clarification comes after legal documents revealed Nikki will pay Artem two lump-sum payments of $100,000 each, with the second due by the end of 2025. She will also cover all of Matteo’s speech therapy expenses while splitting the cost of extracurricular activities.

Despite the financial obligations, Nikki retains control of her businesses, including Stephanie Nicole Garcia Entertainment and her wine label, Bonita Bonita. The exes will share 50/50 custody of Matteo, alternating major holidays each year.
