Nikki Bella Secretly Training Weekly for WWE Comeback

Nikki Bella may be closer to an in-ring comeback than anyone expected—and it’s all going down in a Florida “dungeon” with her longtime friend Natalya.

During a new episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Natalya dropped a major update on her former Total Divas co-star and WWE Hall of Famer. According to the veteran wrestler, Nikki has been flying to Florida “every week” for private training sessions—and she hasn’t missed a beat.

Natalya revealed, “Nikki actually has been coming and training with me privately. So she flies in every week, and she’s been coming and working with me. I will tell you that she hasn’t lost it, she has so much passion for this.”

The two go way back—like, glue-sequins-on-your-own-gear back. Natalya got personal as she reflected on their humble beginnings in WWE developmental, saying, “We started together in the same week in developmental in WWE and I remember when all three of us had nothing.”

She shared that the Bella Twins literally gave her clothes because she didn’t have enough money to buy gear. “I didn’t have enough money to buy wrestling gear, so The Bella Twins were giving me their clothes… I was cutting them up and glueing my own sequins on them.”

Now, years later, the two are back together, and Natalya couldn’t be more thrilled to help Nikki train for her Royal Rumble return—and potentially more. “Of course, I would love to see Nikki back. I’m looking for a tag team partner and of course I’d love to have Nikki as my partner.”

Training is taking place in what Nattie affectionately refers to as their “dungeon”—a sweatbox of a room in Florida meant to replicate the legendary Hart Dungeon in Calgary. “There’s no air conditioning. It’s in Florida. It’s just a small room with enough room to put a ring in, and there’s one bathroom, and there’s some fans, and there’s a lot of stray cats that my husband and I feed.”

With Nikki’s Rumble appearance still fresh and her rumored involvement in a possible Evolution 2.0 event circulating, this may be just the beginning of her WWE return story.
