Nikki Bella didn’t just walk into WWE Survivor Series: WarGames with a championship dream—she walked in worried her gear might betray her. After coming up short against Stephanie Vaquer in San Diego, Nikki opened up on The Nikki & Brie Show about the real behind‑the‑scenes fear she carried into the match: a full-blown wardrobe malfunction.

According to Nikki, her new gear looked amazing in the sketch, but when she saw it in person, reality hit fast. Things took an unexpected turn when her designer arrived in LA with the finished product.

“When I talked to my gear guy, I said, it’s time for a change. I’ve been in jerseys forever. I wanna keep it sexy and sporty, but I want it to feel more bad girl.”

“He came to my hotel room, pulls out the bra, and I’m like, ‘Oh, where’s the rest?’ He goes, ‘What do you mean?’ I’m like, ‘It’s a bra.’ He’s like, ‘Yeah, it’s the sketch.’ I was assuming it was a full back. I go, ‘Oh my gosh, I don’t know how I’ll do it.’”

With live TV, thousands in the arena, and a world title match on the line, Nikki did what any seasoned performer would: she made sure nothing was slipping.

“Before I went out there, not only was I fully taped—I got sewn and taped in. I made them sew me in and I said, ‘Can you duct tape me around?’ I got tips from Rhea because she wears bra-inspired gear.”

Even then, she admitted there were moments during the match where she was worried about a wardrobe malfuction—especially during bumps.

“I won’t lie, there were a few moments where I caught myself looking down, because when I bumped, I was like, ‘They’re still in, right!?’ I was just worried about spilling out.”

Wardrobe scare or not, Nikki went to war with Vaquer in her hometown, taking nasty spots—including multiple Devil’s Kisses and a corkscrew moonsault—before ultimately taking the loss. But as she said backstage afterwards, this isn’t the end of the Nikki Bella comeback run.

Now, with her gear mishap confession out in the open, fans have a whole new appreciation for what she battled inside and outside the ring that night.

Do you think Nikki Bella should stick with the new “bad girl” gear—or bring back something safer for future matches? Drop your thoughts and tell us what look you want to see her rock next!
