Nikki Bella Says She’s Likely Not Working WWE SummerSlam

Nikki Bella just gave fans a quick update on her WWE status heading into SummerSlam, and it doesn’t sound too promising if you were hoping to see her on the card.

Speaking on the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, Bella opened up about her current WWE run and how she’s approaching things during this phase of her career. While she’s been active lately—including a battle royal appearance at WWE Evolution and a Raw match against Chelsea Green—her SummerSlam involvement remains up in the air.

“Hopefully your girl will be on SummerSlam. I don’t think, but I don’t know, so.”

Despite the uncertainty, Nikki made it clear she’s enjoying herself in WWE again. She admitted she wasn’t needed on the most recent episode of Raw, so she went to the Happy Gilmore premiere instead—but that didn’t sour her mood at all.

“I’m having so much fun in everything I do. Even at WWE, I’m not always on Raw and that’s okay because I’m just having a lot of fun. I wanted to be on Raw this past week but they didn’t need me so I went to the Happy Gilmore premiere. I’m just happy for whatever I get when I’m there. I love the locker room, I love being a part of things. It’s such a great place to be.”

So while Bella fans may not see her at SummerSlam this year, it’s clear she’s embracing her current spot in WWE and isn’t stressing about missing a show or two.
