Nikki Bella is making it clear — she’s done with the legal side of marriage.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the WWE Hall of Famer opened up about how her difficult divorce last year has completely changed her outlook on tying the knot. While she isn’t ruling out falling in love again, Bella says she won’t ever sign legal papers for marriage.
“Oh, trust me. I don’t want to get married ever. Never getting married after a divorce. I’m never getting married. I mean, look, I don’t want to say never because that will probably happen. But I will never sign a contract.”
Bella explained that she’s still open to the emotional and symbolic aspects of a lifelong partnership — rings, vows, and commitment — but without the legal entanglements that come with it.
“So, we could wear rings, we could be fully committed—yeah, we could do vows. I will vow to someone, but I will never sign anything and have to deal with a divorce. Never again.”
This follows Bella’s recent revelation that she joined dating apps while on the road to ease feelings of loneliness. For now, she’s leaving the door open for love, but closing it firmly on any legal paperwork that could lead to another divorce.
