Nikki Bella is definitely a trailblazer in the world of pro wrestling and her life’s an open book, especially when it comes to her love life. With that in mind, Bella believes people hate her because of the people she dates.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Nikki Bella talked about how there’s a part of the internet that just completely hates her, no matter what she does. She said it’s actually become funny to her, even though some things can still hurt.

Over time she’s realized that the more successful you become, the more hate you’re going to get, it simply comes with the territory. She was always taught that hearing that kind of noise means you’re doing something right and achieving more. Bella thinks a lot of the hate probably just comes from her success.

“I feel—well, you know, it’s funny because it’s like, we could listen to some of the internet that just—there’s a part of the internet that absolutely hates me. And no matter what I do, they will just not like me. And that’s okay. It honestly has become laughable to me, because sure, some things can still hurt, of course.

But what I’ve realized is the more success you have, that just comes with it. No matter what you do. I was always taught it’s good to hear that noise—that means you’re doing something right and you’re more successful. So I think an easy reason for the hate is just the success.”

Nikki Bella believes her own passion and ambition make people hate her. She also feels even the people she dates make people really hate her. But ultimately, she believes when a woman knows her worth and is confident in her own skin, people look for reasons to tear her down.

They might say she’s only successful because of this or that. Bella says when someone stands firm, knows their value and doesn’t let the criticism get to them, people weirdly seem to hate that even more. She finds it strange, but thinks that’s just how things are these days.

“I feel like sometimes my passion and my ambition can make people hate me. I think too, the people I date make people hate me. It’s just— you know what it is? I think when you’re a woman and you know your worth, they have to find something to hate because they can’t stand that you’re so comfortable in your skin.

You have confidence, and it’s like—‘Whoa, it’s because of this’ or ‘it’s because of that’ why she’s successful. They’ll say all these things. And when you know your worth, and you stand strong and don’t let it affect you, people hate that. It’s really weird. But people hate that nowadays.”

This comes after Nikki Bella already made it clear that she and John Cena are on very good terms following their breakup. She also went through a messy divorce with Artem Chigvintsev but she’s moved on past that, so it’s clear she really couldn’t care less people hate her for the people she’s dated or anything else and that’s never going to change.
