Becky Lynch went scorched earth on Nikki Bella by referencing Bella’s breakup with John Cena during Raw last week. Now, Bella’s made it clear she’s just warming up and has tricks up her sleeve as well.
While speaking on the Nikki and Brie Show, Nikki Bella talked about Becky Lynch roasting her on Raw last week about her breakup with John Cena. A lot of fans and media called it the best promo and burn of the year.
Even though it was a big burn, Nikki said she actually enjoyed it. She noted that the Bella Army has been sending her proper comebacks for Becky, and she’s saving them for later.
“What’s crazy is people are calling it the best promo of the year. Becky burned me, lit me up, and everyone’s saying it’s the best burn of the year. It’s wild how much media it’s gotten — but these are the moments we want, right?
That burn was funny because I actually love it. My Bella Army, I’ve been seeing you all online tweeting me some amazing burns to throw back at Becky. I’ve been saving them because I know I’m going to need them.”
Bella said she feels like she’s in an underdog stage right now, which she hasn’t been in for a long time. She thinks it’s exciting because it means she can work hard, climb back up and win over the crowd.
Nikki also said she plans to respond to Becky’s comment about John Cena and that she’s just getting started. Fans have asked her to bring back her heel Divas Champion attitude, and she told them to keep watching because it might happen.
“Honestly, I feel like I’m in this rockier, underdog era right now, and I haven’t been here in a really long time. It’s kind of cool, because all I can do is climb, keep fighting my way up.
Being in this underdog spot is exciting — the only expectation is to show up, give my best, impress the crowd, and fight for it. And I want to fight hard for it. So please, everyone, keep sending me those good burns, because I need to come back strong after what she said about John. I was like, ‘Oh, s***.’
Oh, well — your girl’s just warming up. Someone else wrote, ‘I need Nikki to bring back her heel Divas champ vibe.’ Just keep watching. That’s all I’m going to say. Just keep watching.”
We will have to wait and see what kind of comeback Nikki Bella has planned for Becky Lynch after that insane burn. After all, it’s clear they will eventually have a match at Clash in Paris, so fans are excited to see how their feud will build up till then.
