The ongoing controversy surrounding Nick LoPiccolo and alleged AEW burner accounts took a sharp new turn this week after former WWE personality Kayla Braxton publicly accused LoPiccolo of cutting off contact after she helped him professionally.
Braxton took to social media and claimed LoPiccolo benefited directly from her WWE connections—only to disappear once she left the company. She wrote:
“He signed me while I was at WWE. I helped him sign several WWE talent by making introductions. He promised to help me out for helping him. I depended on him after I left WWE… he ghosted me. Haven’t heard from him since. So… if that says anything about the kind of guy he is.”
The accusation landed in the middle of LoPiccolo’s ongoing public feud involving the @Ron11479280 account, which he has repeatedly claimed is tied to AEW President Tony Khan and responsible for leaking backstage information to wrestling media. Braxton’s post prompted a response from Sports Illustrated contributor Jon Alba, who weighed in on the situation and backed her account. He replied:
“This is the absolute least shocking thing ever, and I’m sorry you dealt with that.”
LoPiccolo immediately fired back at Alba, taking aim at both him and Sports Illustrated’s AEW coverage. He responded:
“No Jon, the least shocking thing ever is you giving 10 awards for clout.”
That comment referenced Sports Illustrated’s 2025 wrestling awards, which handed AEW multiple honors—something everyone has repeatedly criticized. LoPiccolo then directly addressed Braxton’s accusation, confirming he saw her post but insisting the matter was being handled privately. He wrote:
“Yes I saw the post. I made contact privately to address this directly. I won’t be engaging further on here, but I'm not dodging or ducking anything, or pretending like the post doesn't exist.”
Shortly after, he added a more sarcastic follow-up defending his reputation:
“If that were my reputation, ghosting? You guys wish I would shut my phone off or stop engaging on… everything. That’s like accusing AEW talent of having bad workrate. Or accusing Dave Meltzer of being a journalist. No one would.”
The exchange adds to what has already become a messy and very public dispute involving AEW, wrestling media, and alleged burner accounts. While LoPiccolo continues to claim he has evidence of additional backstage leaks tied to the “Ron” account, Braxton’s accusation has shifted attention squarely onto his personal conduct.
Whether more receipts emerge or this turns into another quiet fade‑out remains to be seen—but the spotlight is firmly back on Nick LoPiccolo.
