WWE President Nick Khan is setting the record straight on who gets comp tickets—and how many—at WWE events. And yes, if your name isn’t Daniel Cormier, you might want to cool it on the asks.
Khan recently joined Daniel Cormier on DC’s YouTube channel, where the two talked about everything from wrestling access to just how far a VIP hookup can really go. That’s when Khan dropped a behind-the-scenes tidbit about how Cormier became the measuring stick for comp limits at WWE.
“Assume that most of the requests we get are, ‘Hey, I’d like to attend plus one, maybe plus two.’ But we set a new limit about a year or two ago. It’s called the Daniel Cormier limit.”
Khan revealed that Cormier’s asks are so massive they became a running joke at WWE HQ:
“It’s usually me reaching out saying, ‘Hey, DC, we’re going to be in your neighborhood. Would you like to attend?’ ‘Yes, I’ll be plus 438,’ or whatever it is. Now, it turns out these are all of your students.”
Cormier confirmed that yes, he’s rolling deep—and it’s all about sharing the love for wrestling. “Yes. Yes. Wrestling.” Khan added that even though WWE staff question the approval, the answer’s always the same:
“The note comes in: ‘Who approved 44 tickets for Daniel Cormier?’ And the answer is—we did.”
Cormier, clearly grateful, gave a shout-out to WWE for letting him make memories with his wrestling students.
“I appreciate that. The kids love it. Hey, I’m making dreams happen, Nick. I got all these kids who love the WWE just like me. They want to be in the building. And we also get to go watch the access. We appreciate it truly.”
This rare behind-the-curtain look into WWE’s guest list rules comes just as Khan is doubling down on higher ticket prices for live events, citing scarcity and global demand during TKO’s latest financial call this month. But when it comes to DC and his wrestling crew? Let’s just say the velvet rope stays wide open.
