The 2025 Royal Rumble delivered big moments, but it turns out one of the most dominant performances of the night could have been even more destructive.

Fightful Select reports that Nia Jax was actually meant to eliminate even more competitors during the Women’s Royal Rumble match, but something changed along the way.

Jax already had a record-breaking showing, tossing out multiple top names, but sources indicate that WWE had originally planned for her to rack up an even higher elimination count. The reason for the adjustment hasn’t been confirmed, but speculation suggests timing issues or match flow adjustments may have led to the change.

Despite the shift in plans, Jax still left a lasting impression. The final six of the match featured Nia Jax, Roxanne Perez, Nikki Bella, Charlotte Flair, Giulia, and Bayley. When the dust settled, Jax was eliminated, leaving Charlotte Flair and Perez as the last two women standing. Flair ultimately secured the win, punching her ticket to WrestleMania 41.
